The Highlands Center for Ballet Arts or ‘HBCA’ was founded in 1994 and has been a staple in the community ever since. Putting on amazing classical ballets to original pieces, the ballet school has captured the hearts of many dance lovers over the years, producing amazing young dancers to carry the art form for years to come.

For those of you further south of us Johnson City Ballroom is a warm and inviting ballroom dance studio in downtown Johnson City that provides social and competitive dance training in all partnered styles. For three-quarters of a century, the Virginia Highlands Festival has been a beacon of artistic expression, showcasing the talents of local artisans, musicians, authors, and chefs.
